What We Do

Stadium Improvements

For the 2024 season, Friends of McBean Park Stadium has supported two improvement projects.

Projects at McBean Park

Berm Expansion Project

The main capital improvement at McBean Stadium for the 2024 Season is the expansion of the grass berm down the left-field line. Originally built by Teichert Construction before the inaugural 2017 Lincoln Potters season, Teichert is once again taking on the task on improving the area. The expansion is increasing berm capacity from 100-150 fans to 200-250 fans. In addition to the larger berm area, a brand-new, 150-foot concrete path on the backside will allow fans easy access to this favorite viewing spot.

3rd Base Line/Berm Netting Project

Thanks to advance funding from the City of Lincoln and long-term funding by the Lincoln Potters Baseball Club, 10-foot high netting was installed from the visitor’s dugout to the back of the field. This netting will help protect people on the berm from line drive hits down the third base line.

Scoreboard Project

Our 2024-2025 capital campaign will focus mostly on raising funds for a new scoreboard. Click here to learn more about our capital campaign!
